Immersed in the splendid Tuscan countryside, only 7 km from the Gulf of Follonica, in front of Island Elba you find “La Cuccumella".
At the edge of the medieval village of Campiglia Marittima and bordering on the Natural Park of Montioni, "La Cuccumella" offers 10 large 2 and 3 room apartments, sleeping 4 to 6 people, each with cooking and other facilities, including air conditioning and heating, and a private terrace for two 1° floor apartments. Also available to the guests are: a swimming pool of 100 square meters, a barbeque, and childrens playground area.

"La Cuccumella" is ideally located for those who enjoy peace and quite, for day trips to well-known historical Tuscan sites, or to organise cycling, horseback riding, or walking excursions to explore the Maremma. It is only a few kilometres from the geo-thermal area of Larderello which is a truly unique naturalistic area. In addition to the famous thermal baths of Saturnia and Petriolo, the area boasts many thermal springs already known in the era of the Etruscan civilisation, of whose existence there are extensive remains.

La Cuccumella offers 10 apartments; 6 two-room apartments with approx. 50 mq., bedroom with double bed (another bed can be added), living room with kitchen corner and extendable couch. They are situated in the first and second floor.

Furthermore, La Cuccumella offers 2 two-room apartments in the first floor with the same division, but with own entrance and each with an approx. 25 mq. terrace which you can reach by an outdoor stair.

La Cuccumella offer also 2 three-room apartments with 4 to 6 beds with approx. 70 mq., 2 bedrooms, living room with kitchen corner and extendable couch each with two bathrooms, one of them suitable for handicapped people. Both have an own entrance from the garden side.

By car

From the north:
Highway A12 Genova-Rosignano: Direction south (Livorno-Rosignano)

Exit Rosignano: Follow the Superstrada Livorno-Grosseto direction Grosseto for 50 kilometers until exit Venturina.

Exit Venturina: Follow the indication Venturina-Suvereto, at the crossing with the old Aurelia (Sp 39) turn right and go direction Follonica for exactly 3 kilometer. Bei km 142,200 turn left to the Sp22 Via di Casalappi, follow for 4 kilometer always straight and you will arrive to the CUCCUMELLA (on your left side).

From the south:
Exit Superstrada Grosseto-Livorno: Vignale-Riotorto;

At the exit turn left and take direction Riotorto, then at the roundabout turn left and take direction Livorno. Follow this direction for 1,6 kilometer until you find on the right side “Km 239”, turn right and take direction Casalappi, go always straight for approx. 1,5 kilometer then overcross the „STOP“ always straight, after approx. 1,5 km (left turn) you will find La Cuccumella (with entrance on the right side).

By train
