Vacation House San Marco

San Marco Holiday Home offers the possibility of spending holidays in the beautiful western Sicily, staying in apartments and rooms in the historic center of Valderice.

Located in the oldest quarter of the small town (San Marco), a short walk from the main roads, our apartments and rooms are named after flowers: Margherita, Primula, Gelsomino, Geranio e Orchidea; they are very large, coloured, with solid wood furniture and provided with every comfort. Each one is consisting of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a large living room fitted with a supplied kitchenette, a table with chairs and a double sofa-bed. Fittings include also a TV, a fridge, conditioned air and WI-FI connection in the whole building. On demand we give free cradle, hairdryer and iron.

At our guests’ disposal there are assistance on the spot, communal laundry, public car park nearby and a large relax courtyard. On demand we give advices on excursions, restaurants where to taste local typical products, bicycle, scooter, motorbike, car and rubber dinghy rental and transfer service from and to Trapani and Palermo airports.

It is possible to park the car near San Marco, abroad. The area is very quiet.

Valderice is located in a strategical spot, between Trapani town and Mount Erice, at 5 km from sea. In the sorroundings there are famous tourist sites:

• Erice, a little medieval town located at 700 meters above sea level (10 minutes)
• Trapani and the saline (10 minutes)
• S. Vito Lo Capo, with his beaches that are among the best in Italy (30 minutes)
• La Riserva dello Zingaro and Scopello (30 minutes)
• Custonaci (15 minutes)
• Favignana and the Isole Egadi (30 minutes from Trapani)
• Mozia, the Stagnone di Marsala and Marsala (30 minutes )
• Segesta, with his Greek temples and with his theatrical performances in the summertime (30 minutes)
• Selinunte (1hour)

By car
San Marco Holiday Home at 500 mt away from S.S.187 that connects Castellammare Del Golfo to Trapani.
By plane
From Trapani-Birgi Airport proceed towards the motorway A29, following directions to Trapani. When you are arrived in Trapani, turn right and you will find the bowling, go on to the crossroads and follow the roadsigns to Erice - Valderice. Driving along the SS187 you will arrive in Valderice and along the stretch that runs through the town, turn right on Via Simone Catalano. Valderice is about 27 Km from Airport

From Punta-Raisi Airport, take the motorway A29 Palermo - Mazara del Vallo, exit at Castellammare del Golfo, proceeds towards Valderice, Erice and Trapani, or exit at Fulgatore. Proceed following roadsigns to Erice or Valderice. Valderice is about 80 km from Palermo Airport.

By Bus
Valderice is connected to Trapani and neighbouring tows (Erice, Custonaci, San Vito Lo Capo e Castellammare Del Golfo) by AST company buses.

By train
