Residence La Rocca Residence

The Rocca Residence is situated on the shore of Lake Trasimeno. This was designated Trasimeno Natural Park in 1995 and offers visitors a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Horseriding or walking in the unspoilt woods, pleasant stops on the lake's beaches, visits to charming fishing villages, searches for the lace-makers of Maggiore Island or for copper and wrought iron handicraft ? all contribute to an atmosphere where nature and human activity still happily co-exist.

Nearby cultural centres are well worth visiting: jazz in Perugia; Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of the Two Worlds) in Spoleto; the Palio in Sienna.

Olive oil, truffles, cold meats and excellent local wines are the basic ingredients of a traditional gastronomy that can be sampled in the many village feasts held during summer.

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, and all provided with furnished gardens or balconies with beautiful views. Each apartment has been decorated with colours which reflect the shades of the natural scenery: the blue of the lake; the green of the olive and oak cloaked hills; the orange of the wonderful sunsets; the yellow of the flowering broom.

Within the residence, parking, reception, bar and swimming pool are convenient and relaxing, while the nearby town of San Feliciano (2 km) has a bank, post office and supermarket.
