Hotel Aquaviva

The Relax Hotel Aquaviva is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the countryside, on a hill which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and woods. The village of Casole d’Elsa, of Etruscan origin, is located 3 km away, at an elevation of approximately 400 m above sea level, and is a member of the Orange Flag Association, a standard of eco-environmental quality for the Italian Touring Club.
The Hotel takes its name from an ancient legend and provides the perfect locale for a total-relax vacation while being also of great cultural interest. All of the significant sites of cultural interest in Tuscany are easily reachable: San Gimignano (17 km), Volterra (20 km), Siena (30 km), Florence and Pisa (60 km).

The Relax Hotel Aquaviva, recently constructed, offers its guests 35 rooms, all with private bath/WC, satellite television (English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish programmes), Internet connection, direct telephone, minibar, safe and hair dryer.
The 28 “Comfort” rooms can be double or twin, triple or four bedded; all include a covered loggia, with panoramic view.
The 6 “Superior” rooms are all double or twin and include private loggia and garden, for a maximum relax. They are equipped with spa bathtub, separate shower and aromatherapy.
The “Junior suite” is a double room with two extra beds and a small lounge with Satellite TV. Private loggia with panoramic view, spa bathtub, separate shower and aromatherapy.

The hotel was newly built in 2005. Rooms are furnished in modern style, the restaurant in 19th century style.

The restaurant includes an air conditioned hall, a country-style veranda and a panoramic terrace. Views are from every point splendid. In good weather, meals are served al fresco on the terrace. The restaurant offers traditional Italian and Tuscan cuisine, home made pasta, seafood, but also a large choice of home made pizzas, and a wide selection of Tuscan and Italian wines. Meals can be served “à la carte”, with half board or with full board.

From the North
-Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at FIRENZE CERTOSA, take the dual-carriage way (Superstrada) towards SIENA;
-Exit the Superstrada at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA NORD, and turn left towards VOLTERRA/COLLE VAL D’ELSA.
-Follow this main road to the town of Colle val d’Elsa and at 2.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada turn right towards VOLTERRA/CASOLE D’ELSA on the road SS 68.
-After another 3 km (5.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada) at LE GRAZIE, turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
From the South
-Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at VAL DI CHIANA, and head towards SIENA;
-Follow this road to Siena, and take to ring road towards FIRENZE on to the Superstrada and exit at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA SUD.
-Take the main road through Colle Val d’Elsa following the signs for VOLTERRA / CASOLE D’ELSA.
-At LE GRAZIE, turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
Then
-Travelled along this main road for 7 km, turn right at the first roundabout (there is a white sign post indicating “La Pergola”)
-Drive straight for 3.7 km; through the second roundabout, following the signs VOLTERRA. You will find hotel AQUAVIVA, on your right, on the hill.
