Hotel Petit

Located in an ideal position for visiting Aeolian Islands, being in front of Milazzo’s port, the PETIT HOTEL is a BIO hotel, unique and avant-garde in its own tipology. The building dates back to the 1800’s and it has been completely renovated by using “eco-friendly” procedures and only natural materials (such as lime, cork, untoxic paintings, etc.).

The 9 rooms have an excellent comfort, thanks to wooden furniture, natural latex mattresses, and natural fibre sheets. In every room there is an ionizing filter which purifies the air. On the walls there are original paintings by a German artist and ceramics handmade by Sicilian artists.

Buffet breakfast is made with organic meals, typical local food and fair trade products too. At the restaurant of the hotel it is possible to taste the typical dishes of Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine. Our philosophy is to use only local, genuine, in season and organic food, cooked in a simple way in order to bring out their flavor and not to damage health. We prepare organic and vegetarian dishes too.

At the highest floor there is a splendid terrace, where it is possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, to read a book or simply to relax waiting for the hydrofoil...

Annexed to the hotel there is a snack bar and a little shop of fair trade and organic products.

Milazzo is a popular seaside resort and one of the most important tourist city in the province of Messina, thanks to its location ideal for visiting Aeolian Islands, Tindari and Nebrodi Park. Its coastline is considered one of the longest in Sicily.
Milazzo is not just a seaside resort, popular for its magnificent beaches and landscapes, it has an ancient past that has left many traces in the territory. The oldest part of town is a typical medieval village , dominated by ancient walls and famous citadel, fortified in Arab period , although it already existed at the time of Greeks ,when the need of building a fort to defend the acropolis became strong.
Milazzo’s Castle is an ancient fort located at the top of the old town, whose origins are probably Arabs. Fortified in Norman times, today the Castle was declared a national monument thanks to great artistic value of the building. In Milazzo there are also many churches, rich in artistic works of great value.

BY PLANE
Airports of Catania (Fontanarossa) and Palermo (Falcone-Borsellino) and then take a train, a bus or rent a car.

BY CAR
- Highway Palermo-Messina A20 Exit tollgate of Milazzo
- From the tollgate, follow directions to Milazzo
- ATTENTION Don’t exit at PORTO indication, but at MILAZZO CENTRO
- Turn at the second left, immediately after the bar and go straight ahead to the port;
- Turn right, 50 mt and you are arrived ...

BY TRAIN
You can arrive at Milazzo by train from Palermo, Catania and Messina, then you have to take a bus or a taxi until the port of Milazzo: the hotel is in front of the port.

BY BUS
From Palermo and from Catania, take a bus to Messina and then another bus to Milazzo. Bus stop just in front of the hotel
