The Hotel is situated in the characteristic panoramic zone of Capo di Sorrento, nearest the famous ruins of Bagni of Queen Giovanna, in calm position, close to the bus stop to the city centre. All the Hotel rooms have private services, TV, air conditioned (on request), where most of them have a seaview little terrace on the wonderful bay of Naples.

The Restaurant surrounded by a wide cover glass with terrace, with a lovely view as well has a superb kitchen particularly careful to the customer requirements. There is also an American Bar for the use of the guests.The Hotel also has its own private car park.

You can reach the Hotel Villa Gerardo in Sorrento by different kind of transports, both private or public.

By Plane: Land at Capodichino International Airport in Naples, which is connected to the major international and Italian airports. There is also a public bus service from the airport to Sorrento.

By Train: Arrive at Naples Central Station. Change to the local train, the “Circumvesuviana”, which leaves for Sorrento every 20-30 minutes. The journey to Sorrento (last stop) takes 1 hour. One of the stops on the line from Naples to Sorrento is Pompei Scavi, the nearest station to the archaeological site of Pompei. The local train station is just 1.200 metres from the hotel.

By car: Take the A3 Napoli-Pompei-Salerno motorway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia, then follow the signs to Sorrento. Once in Sorrento go to Piazza Tasso in the town centre where you can take the orange bus for Via Capo will find the hotel. Journey times vary according to traffic and season. With a car, resorts like Amalfi, Ravello and Positano are all within easy reach, just a few km along the Amalfitana coast road.

By Hydrofoil: Daily service all year round with departures from Naples (Beverello pier) and Capri. The harbour is just 800 metres from the Piazza Tasso.
