Farm Holiday Sasso Rosso

The Sasso Rosso Farmhouse Hotel was created by engineer Pierfrancesco Cipolloni , who remodelled the old farm mill in the late '90s to include 11 comfortable bedrooms in rural style, to accommodate visitors around the year. The bedrooms (double, triple or quadruple) are spacious and full of light, decorated with care in every detail and equipped with every comfort: bathroom, shower, TV and anything you might need. It can welcome diversely abled people.
In addition, there are 2 apartments for 4/7 guests, equipped with kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, located on a panoramic hill just 500mts. from the main house. Also, some rooms are specially arranged to welcome guest with dogs.
The half-board plan includes sleeping, breakfast and a rich dinner with typical Umbrian products and white meats from the farm.
The marvellous swimming pool and large sun-deck are in a panoramic position. Silence and the unique atmosphere of the place help dissolve the unnerving stress accumulated in big cities.
In order to diffuse the tradition and culture of a territory with a wealth in flavours and perfumes, Sasso Rosso organises degustation dinners on a weekly basis which have become an institution. The specialties of typical Umbrian cuisine, prepared with local ingredients, are served with excellent wines produced in the farm, under the guidance of Mastro Sommelier Pierfrancesco.

On the skirts of Mount Subasio, next to the Natural Park, the Sasso Rosso Farm extends for 15 hectares at an altitude of 400 – 500 mt. Just outside Assisi and only 700 mt. from the Perugia - Foligno – Spoleto motorway. Its exceptional location makes it the perfect base to visit the most important cities in Umbria and enjoy their unique beauty and history, with just a 10 – 40 minute drive.
SASSO ROSSO is happy to welcome you to this peaceful corner in the midst of green Umbria. A place where you can lose yourself in Nature in the company of the farm animals, enjoying the genuine gastronomic specialties and excellent wines produced, in a magical context surrounded by History and culture.
