Farm Holiday Il Gelso Antico

Il Gelso Antico, an ancient farmhouse, in the open countryside among lavender, rosemary and secular olive trees, offers the opportunity of spending a regenerating holiday in the green and relaxing landscape of Monte Conero, close to Porto Recanati 's seaside and Numana's and Sirolo's beaches.
Hospitality, familiar and discreet, is offered in refined and essential rooms, studied in every little detail respecting the original architectural structure; from every room the sight goes on the bucolic country around.
Our Agritourism is just 1 km from Giacomo Leopardi's House, of whom Recanati keeps many memoirs, together with the ones of the famous Tenor Beniamino Gigli.
Apart from presenting Giacomo Leopardi's land, Il Gelso Antico is for sure the ideal starting point to know cities of art or villages that are classified among the most beautiful of Italy, such as: San Severino, Montecassiano, Treia Cingoli, Montelupone, Loreto, and the superb Ascoli Piceno.
Our agritouristic structure is surely in a privileged position to discover the Marchigian hinterland, in search of medieval villages and a rhythm of life that is nowadays lost, or of fascinating journeys to "Monti Sibillini, the Light Blue Mountains".
Gelso Antico offers to its guests three bedrooms with all mod cons: they are different for kind and dimension, but the all furnished with natural colours and materials; healty rooms in harmony with the rural contest that surrounds us and that respects the original structures.
Starting from 7.30 a.m. we offer breakfast to our Guests, with buffet service.
Snacks and different tasting will be served all day long.
Raw materials not coming from our farm are anyway well-selected and bought directy in the farms of our territory, offering in this way to our guests healty and genuine products, to find back old tastes and fragrances.
For the dinner of our guests we book tables in the best restaurants of our area under agreement.
