AGRITURISMO CARRERA DELLA REGINA
The Farm-holiday Carrera della Regina is born from the restructuration of one old farm in the respect of the architectonic preexistences and the characteristics of the places. All the buildings are easy accessible, located to ground-floor and inner stairs do not exist.
ROOMS & APARTMENTS
Currently are available 6 rooms and 2 mini-apartments.
THE COURTYARD
The buildings create one small inner court where, to the shadow of a tree of tiglio, the customers can spend pleasantly some moments of the day.
THE RESTAURANT
The restaurant is always open for the hosts who stay into the Farm. Lunch from 12,30 to 13,30 and Dinner from 20:00 to 21:00, made up of products that come from the nearest agricultural company.
MEETING ROOM
There is a meeting room of 60 seats easy modifiable for every requirement.
SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool is been built in a natural depression of the land with an irregular free shape, like a small lake. Near the swimming pool there is an area with tables and chairs and a small Bar. Moreover there are toilets and dressing rooms with cabinets separated for men and women. In the swimming pool the bathing attendant is always present. There are carried out also swim lessons for children and adults.
THE FOREST
The Farm-holiday is encircled from a forest of oak of approximately 500 hectares, of which 120 hectares are of property of the company. In the forest some ways have been opened with various degrees of difficulty, in order to be run across for healthy walks by horses and mountain bike.
THE HORSES AND THE LITTLE DONKEYS
Some loving Haflingher race horses are available for the hosts of the Farm-holiday and suitable in order to make walks. There are also some little Sardinia race donkeys very affectionate and docile, with which the children can play and, upon request and based on the availability of the staff, can ride for small turns.
BOX FOR DOGS
Only upon request, animals of small ransom are admitted (also in the room of the customers if they are educated and cleaned). For dogs of greater ransom there is a box with external fencing. The host, jointly to the keys of the room, will receive also the keys for the access to the box.
PLAYING AREA FOR CHILDREN
The playing area for children is composed from various equipments in wood (see-saw, slide, balance, etc.).
NATURALISTIC ROAD
The Naturalistic road is traced inside of a type oak wood of west origin, probably many time ago it was a oak wood of Roverella, with strong presence of Cerro (the conduction favorited the Cerro instead of the Roverella that remains however present somewhere). It represents the typical Mediterranean Italian forest being constituted from one cerreta "treated" and not natural, originally lead to cut and now in transformation to high stalk. This forest is characterized by the presence of several species of Oaks (Quercus cerris L.), of Black Carpino (Ostrya carpinifolia Scop.), of White Carpino (Carpinus betulus L.), of Orniello (Fraxinus ornus L.) and others. The Cerro has a Southeastern Europe distribution: Turkey, the Balkans and Italy (it extends from the southern Piemonte and Liguria until the Sicily but it is not present in Sardinia). In Italy it constitutes a remarkable portion of the forests and in the southern zone often it is associated to the Roverella that however has a wide diffusion also towards France, the Pyrenees, Switzerland, Czech Rep., Turkey and also Sardinia.
