The B&B “La Corte del Daino” is set in a 19th century farm-house, located in a medieval village at the foot of Montevibiano Castle. The B&B is in a perfect position for a cultural stay: ideally situated near the main historical and tourist Umbrian sites, full of artworks, like Perugia, Assisi, Todi...
And not only.. “La Corte del Daino” is surrounded by the quiet green Umbrian country landscape, with vineyards, olive groves and wonderful sunflowers fields, ensuring a relaxing holiday. Our customers are freely offered bicycles for riding along the small river Nestore or the nature paths recommended.
In order to offer an old-fashioned flavour stay, we have particularly cared about preserving the original features of the farm-house, while renovating the building.
The B&B is run with familiarity and perfect sense of hospitality, as in the pure philosophy of typical country Bed & Breakfast, with the atmosphere and spontaneity of Umbrian traditions.
The householders offer their guests a simple welcome, but at the same time, an attention to details, willingly providing them with suggestions and information about places to visit, restaurants, parks, ecc.
In winter time the rich and hearty breakfasts, including homemade pie, jam, cereals, juice fruit, yogurt and fresh fruit, are served in the big kitchen where a cosy atmosphere is created by pieces of period furniture and a fireplace. During the summer months, instead, guests can have breakfast in the flowery garden, in the shadow of the several fruit and olive trees.
The rooms, with a view of the green umbrian country landscape, have independent entrance and private bathroom with shower, air-conditioning and autonomous heating system. One of the rooms has a large terrace, ideal for those who have a little pet!
All the rooms, wide and bright, and have been accurately furniture for permitting a serene and relaxing holiday to families with children, as well: in fact, when necessary, it’s possible to add one or two single beds in the rooms, which are already provided with capacious wardrobe.
The farm-house brings back an old-fashioned flavor atmosphere: the rooms, different from each other while all preserving the original features of the style characterizing the whole building, show floors in terracotta tiles, ceilings with wooden beams and stone walls. The choice of the pieces of furniture is the result of an accured research among antique markets and junk shops, and of the salvage of objects of the time belonged to the family.
