BedAndBreakfast Art Farm Gaia

Gaia Art Farm is a typical Umbrian 600 square metre farmhouse set in 10,000 square metres of land. Details dating from the 16 th -19th century such as stone walls, chestnut-beam ceiling and vintage terra cotta flat tiles have been preserved. A breakfast room with original brick arched ceiling and a room for creative workshops are situated in converted stables with an a covered patio area.

The farmhouse has 12 heated double rooms with bathroom, some of which are available for guests, a well equipped kitchen and which guests may use also to organize individual and group exhibitions at a gallery.
The 10,000 square metres of land around the farmhouse allows guests an outdoor recreation area.

Gaia Art Farm is open throughout the year offering its guests an excellent and homely bed & breakfast service as either half or full board.

The Gaia Art Farm farmhouse is located in the countryside of the small medieval town of Papiano in the municipality of Marsciano (Perugia), deep in the Umbrian green landscape. Its situation makes it a perfect destination for anyone who loves quiet, peaceful holidays far away from urban noises.

From its privileged location, 20 km from Perugia and at 15 km from Todi, it is possible to discover a unique environment which is easily accessible from all directions.

Thanks to the fortunate location of Gaia Art Farm, it is possible to take one-day excursions to the most beautiful places in Umbria. Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Trevi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Città di Castello. All of them can be reached within 30 min by car .

From Gaia Art Farm walks and mountain bike excursions can be organized to visit the amazing medieval centres of Papiano and Marsciano and the extraordinary nature sites in the surrounding area.

BY CAR
From North: Motorway Bologna-Ancona, exit Cesena Nord and take the Freeway E45 (Cesena-Rome, direction Rome). After Deruta, exit at Casalina.*

Motorway A1 (Florence-Rome), after Florence exit at Valdichiana (direction Perugia). From Perugia take the Freeway E45 (direction Rome). After Deruta exit at Casalina.*

From South: Motorway E45 (Rome-Cesena, direction Perugia). After Todi, exit at Casalina.*

*From the Casalina exit, choose the direction Papiano. At about 2.8 km from there go left in the direction “Caprareccia, insediamento rurale”(rural settlement) for less than 1 km.

BY AIR:
to Rome, Florence or, directly, to Perugia. From those airports you can make a reservation with us to be collected.

BY TRAIN:
from Perugia, Station St. Anna (Ferrovia Centrale Umbra, Central Umbrian Rail) to Papiano station (3 km from Gaia). There will be a Gaia vehicle to pick you up.
