The Locanda Montaguglione, once a 15-th century villa, is located in the midst of the green hills surrounding Florence. It’s an unique accomodation for an unforgettable stay. The beautiful position in the Tuscan landscape is very appreciated even by Florentines, an ideal place to relax and to meditate upon the fascinating historic sites of Florence. The Locanda can be easily reached by urban bus, private car park is available. The Villa is surrounded by a private garden, a peaceful oasis to relax and sun-bath. All rooms have been recently restored and are equipped with heating, air conditioning, telephone, TV, Ethernet jack for lange band Internet connection or wireless access.
Bathrooms are equipped with douche or whirlpool-bath. Breakfast is served in a bright breakfast room, offering a good range of Tuscan specialities.
In the wintertime you enjoy breakfast beside the characteristic fireplace, in summertime it’s served in the garden, while listening to the twittering birds.
There are various walking and trekking routes and the possibility to explore the near woods by mountain bike.
In summertime, on request, you may enjoy the fresh Florentine evening having your dinner in the open air with Tuscan specialities like excellent grilled “Chianina” meat and selected wines.

The Locanda Montaguglione is situated to only 6 kilometers from the center of Florence’s City in East direction and to five kilometers from Florence (Peretola) airport.
If you come with your car you should take the gate of the high-way A1 Firenze-Scandicci. Then you follow the direction "Scandicci centro" and from Scandicci you will find all the signs to reach the Locanda Montaguglione that will offer you hospitality and comfort in a pleasant homely atmosphere with refined courtesy.
