In the earth of the Valdelsa region, at 10 km from the medieval and historic San Gimignano town, in a panoramic location, in a green hill surronded from vignards and olive trees, you can find " Il Cantuccio del sole", a quite farmhouse, near Certaldo the town where was born the famous writer Boccaccio. You will enjoy your stay, surronded from a natural ambience with luxuriant vegetation and fauna..
The Cavallini family will host you in some very romantic and panoramic rooms with private bath, tv, heating, or in some very confortable apartments, made by 1 double room + bath/shower+ well equipped kitchen with a sofabed for other 2 persons, all renowed in a tuscany countryside style.
In the evenings Patrizia will prepare for you some delicious dinners with typical tuscan foods, made by the biological products from the farm.
During your stay you can relax you in the green garden alround the farm, you can also make a tour to visit the vignards, all the production, the cellar, you can also have a wine and oil tasting with the possibility to buy our products.
If you like you can also book a tuscan cooking lesson and taste typical tuscan foods like Lasagne, hand made pasta, ribollita, roasted and grilled meat, grilled vegetable, cakes from the house.

Coming from Bologna/Firenze :
Highway (toll) A1, abatement Scandicci, take Highway Firenze/Pisa/Livorno,
Direction : Pisa-Livorno, abatement Empoli-Ovest. Direction Siena.
After passing Castelfiorentino go to the left near « Gas distribution Metano M »,
the road is called Monte Olivo. After ± 1 km. you will reach « Il Cantuccio del Sole », n° 27.
From Pisa : Highway A12, abatement Aeroporto, direction Firenze, abatement Empoli Ovest.
Direction Siena. After passing Castelfiorentino go to the left near « Gas distribution Metano M »,the road is called Monte Olivo. After 1 km. you will reach « Il Cantuccio del Sole », n° 27.
From Siena : superstrada direction Firenze, abatement Poggibonsi Ovest, direction Castelfiorentino. After passing Certaldo, you will see « Gas distribution Metano M ».
