In the centre of Giardini Naxos a few steps from the sea and the beautiful town of Taormina (only 2 kms), Villa Marisa offers the possibility of a quite and relaxing stay. Its spacious and the bright rooms, each with a wide balcony, are decorated with fashion colours and have private bathroom, air conditioning and TV.
But you can also choose to stay in the “mansard”, a cosy apartment with kitchen, private veranda and a wonderful view of the Bay of Naxos.
At Villa Marisa you can enjoy a rich buffet breakfast and then explore our beautiful island: we shall be able to advise you on the most beautiful excursions of eastern Sicily, and the local hot spots: the “Museum of the old town of Naxos” – Naxos was in fact the first Greek colony in Sicily and its ruins dates back to 700 b. C.; the “Alcantara Gorges” canyons dug by the freezing waters of the Alcantara rivers through spectacular prismatic volcanic rocks; Taormina, the “Mediterranean Pearl”; mount Etna, the highest active volcano of Europe, that dominates the horizon and ravishes the senses with enogastronomic tours through landscape plunged in perfume of orange and Etna brooms.
In the nearby of Villa Marisa there are private and public beaches, restaurants, pubs and easy bus connection to the main Sicilian destinations, such as Taormina, Palermo, Syracuse, and Catania Airport; but should you prefer to avoid buses, we can easily organize for you a transfer from/to Catania airport.
