B&B “Dimora degli Ulivi” is located on the ground floor of a villa with a beautiful courtyard offering a number of sunny or shaded places for guests to relax in at any time.

Guests are furnished with their own set of keys in order for them to enjoy their stay with complete freedom. You are free to come and go as if the B&B were your own home.

The B&B offers three rooms, all furnished to a very high standard, offering a level of comfort to suit even the most discerning of guests.

The doors, the artistic ceramics, the antique pictures, the lamps and the tapestries, woven by Sardinian artisans, have been specially selected to appeal to those who travel for work or for pleasure to this exclusive environment in order to rediscover nature and life’s simple pleasures in a warm and welcoming atmosphere of pure relaxation.

All rooms offer a private bathroom with a shower, complimentary toiletries, air conditioning and heating, colour television, desk and mini-bar.

Breakfast is a feast and lends itself to every guest’s personal taste. In the winter season, breakfast is served in-room, while in the summer season or when the weather is good, it is served in the courtyard.

...Notes and Curiosity

Muravera is located in a river valley framed by the lakes Feraxi, Colostrai and Salina. The fauna is typical of humid areas (pink flamingos, cavalieri d’Italia (trans: “Italian knights”), coots, mallards) and can only be found in a handful of places in the Mediterranean. The town is part of an area which extends from the source of the Flumendosa river to the beaches of Feraxi and Costa Rei, famous for its brilliant white sands.

Located close to the B&B are the Portico Petretto and the parish Church of St Nicholas, built in the 14th Century in the Gothic-Catalan style. A few kilometers away, guests may visit the characteristic Aragonese watchtowers “Dieci Cavalli”, “ Salinas”, “Capo Ferrato” and “Cala Pira”.

Visitors may travel to this region of southern Sardinia during the entire year. Numerous events take place from early March until the end of September.

Among the most important, around the middle of April, is the not-to-be-missed Sagra degli agrumi (trans. the “Citrus Festival”) with its processions of the traccas, richly-decorated floats demonstrating local costumes and traditions, and folklore groups who come from all over the island. The first of May, in Cagliari, is St Ephesus’s Day. Muravera’s carnival begins in early July and includes an amazing exhibition of masks, examples of typical Sardinian craftwork which evoke times long forgotten.
