In the heart of Mantua, a city rich in art and history, the B&B "Armellino", welcomes all our guests in an ancient aristocratic palace of the eighteenth century, just a few steps from the most important buildings and the magic medieval squares.
The owners, Antonella and Massimo, will be very pleased to offer you the comfort of an elegant and fully equipped accommodation in the centre of the city. The B&B "Armellino" is the perfect place for a pleasure and business stay, ideally located for people willing to discover the secrets of the city, the story and the culture, walking through old streets and squares, eating typical dishes and drinking good wine in the local restaurants and shopping in many shops.
All of the rooms are uniquely furnished, respecting the original 18th century splendour of the building, the decorations, like fresco ceilings, antique wooden doors and windows, tile and wood floor, fireplaces. A touch of modernity is given by ethnic furniture and design accessories and the warm colours of the walls that create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and a sense of home.
After a day of sightseeing or after a working day, our guests can enjoy the private enclosed garden under the shade of a tree, drinking a cocktail and in the evening enjoying the fantastic view of the Basilica of Sant'Andrea dominating the sky.
Reception is open from 8,30 to 12,30 a.m.; in the afternoon only by appointment, preferably after 6,30 p.m.

...Notes and Curiosity

The B&B Armellino holds two double rooms and one 35 square metres Suite, with fireplace and wood floor.
All of our rooms are fully equipped with TV colour and fan, minibar in common use.
Two large bathrooms, with shower and bath-tube, hairdryer, bath-towels and courtesy accessories.

Buffet Breakfast served from 8,30 to 9,30 a.m. in the dining room including coffee, tea, espresso, decaffeinated espresso, cappuccino, milk, camomile, fruit, juice, chocolate cream “nutella”, assorted marmalade and jams, yogurt, butter, bread, biscuits, a choice of cheeses and cold meat, “sbrisolona” cake and croissants.

...How to reach us

It is very easy to reach the B&B Armellino: Via Cavour is in the centre of Mantova, between Piazza Sordello and Piazza Broletto, near the main monuments of Mantova: Palazzo Ducale and Basilica of Sant'Andrea.

By train or by bus: The B&B Armellino is easily reached on foot from the Railway and Bus stations, located at 10-15 minutes from Via Cavour. TAXI service is available in both the stations.
By car: Please, follow the road by the water front by Lungolago Gonzaga, enter in Piazza Arche, continue on via Accademia crossing the control cameras of the ZTL, Limited Traffic Zone (you will receive the entrance PASS at your arrival), then turn into via Cavour: the B&B Armellino is located after 30 meters on the left, at the number 67.

Motorway: Leave the motorway A22 at Mantova Nord exit, turn on the right following the directions for the city centre.

Turn left to the S. S. Legnaghese and continue for 3,5 Km, cross the S. Giorgio bridge and turn left following the directions for Bibiena Theatre. Then continue according to the instructions on the notice "by car".
